1. Visit Castles 'N Coasters family fun park which has mini putt, go karts, arcade games and rides.

2. Visit Desert Botanical Gardens where you can learn about the various types of desert plants and flowers.

3. get the western experience at Western Destinations - take a horseback riding adventure, practice steer roping, see how quick you are at the draw and lots more activities.

4. Learn about Native Americans arts and cultures at the Heard Museum

5. Visit the Phoenix Zoo with more than 1300 animals including 200 animals on the endangered list

6. take a tour of the eccentric Mystery Castle built in 1945 of various recycled materials including automotive parts

7. ride the amusement rides at Enchanted Island - they have lots of rides for small children.

8. the Musical Instrument Museum showcases musical instruments from around the world and check out the musicians playing at the MIM Theatre.

9. the Phoenix's Children Museum  has tons of interactive attractions including a giant treehouse, a child size cafe, and a room with everything you need to build an amazing fort
